About Lindy’s Stamp Gang
Lindy's luscious luster is all uniquely two-toned! With vibrant shimmery sprays, flat sprays, vintage sprays, embossing powder and lots more!
Lindy’s Stamp Gang is the creative” baby” of Lindy Plakinger. She passed away in 2008 after bravely battling illness. She was a self-made cartoonist, loved drawing, crafting, designing new products, and creating her funny cartoon characters! One of her greatest joys was traveling to stamping and scrapbooking conventions across the US, demo-ing to her heart’s content with her sister, and giggle partner, Vicki!
Lindy’s Stamp Gang will continue, as was her hope, and dream. Her husband and daughter have taken over the company keeping her creativity alive. Tracey, (her daughter), has always been a “jar filler” in the background of Lindy’s Stamp Gang, but is now trying to fill some incredible shoes!
Lindy's Stamp Gang is donating a $40 gift certificate!

And my layout for that...
The Color Scheme : Aqua, Black, Bright Red, Buttery Yellow and Pale Blue
The Evidence : Metal, Circles, Stars, Stripes, Ink/Paint and Die Cuts
The Testimony : I chose presentation by placing my journaling inside something surprising (which is inside the straw). It said,"To my sweet daughter... Your wee little life has changed me. The day you were born was like a new beginning for me too. A change that will forever lay soft upon my heart. Everything in my life is sweeter because of you. The days and fleeting moments with you are only a breath in time. They linger briefly and fly away on the wings of tomorrow. You are precious in every way, the sunshine in my day, the joy in my soul, and the love of my life. Love you forever, MOM."
I used an old paper from Fancy Pants Design - Recorder, Childish Things. I did a thin layers of gesso using a small paper or (an old credit card if you want) to create a grunge background. Then I used different kind of washi tapes to create layers behind my photo. I added plastic canvas for making more textures. Once I'm done... I glued everything down and started to stamp a lot. The edges using Kaiser Craft Stamp - Film Edges, and all over the page using Finnabair Clear Stamp - Honey Comb and Stampers Anonymous - Bitty Grunge.
Thanks you all for stopping by, wish you all have a great day! Hugs, Merry.

Silhouette

Hi all...
hope you all have a great day. And for today quote of the day is,"You can't make everybody happy. You aren't a jar of Nutella." LOL...Well, this month its an honor to be one of Guest Designer from Pixels And Paper Challenge Blog. Here's they mood board for this month...
I chose to stick with the silhouette so here's my layout...
I started with white page... did a lot of gesso to it, and to all the chipboards and layers that I would use for my background. I applies flower stencil to my background and all the layers. Once they dried, I sprayed them all with Dylusions Ink Spray - Cherry Pie, Orange Squeeze and Lemon Zest. Once I'm happy with the colors, I stamped Finnabair Stamps - Vanity Vintage No.4 and Seamstress. When I knew I had enough stamping, I arranged everything, stapled them together and glued everything.
Once they were right where they should be, I started doing all the details colors using Cosmic Shimmers H2O - Scarlet Sunset, Orange Gold and Yellow Sun. I painted the ladies chipboard in black to match the mood board which I picked it as silhouette. Arranged my journaling in the middle of the page which said,"Nothing can dim the light that shines from within", and for the last touch I brushed dry the Viva Decor Inka Gold - Graphite to add more shadows on my background.
I would like to join the challenge that Scraps N Pieces made for this month challenge with the theme "Be Me" and here's their mood board and their sketch
and also Frosted Designs with friday challenge - Splatter

Hope you're all like what I've made, thanks for stopping by. Hugs, Merry.
